How to Use & Care for Your Slo.Mo Kit

A step-by-step guide for getting the most out of your journey - one plug at a time.

1. Take Your Time

1. Take Your Time

This isn’t a race. Whether you’re a total beginner or coming back for more, the Slo.Mo kit is designed to meet you exactly where you are - and guide you forward, comfortably.

Each plug is numbered on the base, so you’ll always know where you stand (and what comes next). Start with Plug 1, explore at your own pace, and when your body says “more please,” you’ll know.

2. How to Use Slo.Mo

2. How to Use Slo.Mo

  • Find a quiet, comfortable space where you feel relaxed.
  • Use plenty of water-based lubricant - it’s your best friend.
  • Start with Plug 1. Gently insert until you pass the widest part (the Peak) and reach the Valley - a slimmer zone where your body can adjust.
  • Breathe. Relax. Let your muscles get used to the feeling.
  • Once you’re settled in, you can withdraw slightly to reintroduce the Peak - helping your body become familiar with the stretch.
  • Stay here as long as feels good. Some people like to move or flex; others stay still. There’s no one right way.
  • When you’re done, remove slowly and wash with warm water and mild soap.

3. Understanding the Shape: Peak & Valley

3. Understanding the Shape: Peak & Valley

Each plug follows the same intuitive design:

  • Tapered Tip: Eases insertion without abrupt pressure.
  • Peak: The widest point, designed to provide a stretch.
  • Valley: A slimmer section that allows the body to settle and relax.
  • Base: Flared and stable, for peace of mind and safe play.

Unlike most kits that follow a linear progression, Slo.Mo tapers the step-up. The difference between sizes gets smaller as you go — because the higher you climb, the more every millimetre matters.

Bonus: The Valley of one plug matches the Peak of the size below. So when you’re fully comfortable at one level, you know you’re ready for the next.

4. When to Move to the Next Size

4. When to Move to the Next Size

Trust your body. The best sign that you’re ready to size up is when the Peak of your current plug starts to feel like the new normal.

You can also check if the next plug's Valley (comfort zone) matches your current Peak. If so, try inserting the next size just past the Peak — and see how your body responds.

Some people progress every few sessions, others take weeks. That’s what we designed Slo.Mo for: pace over pressure.

Cleaning and Care

Cleaning and Care

With a little care, your plugs will look and feel like new for years.

1. Clean before and after each use

Wash each plug thoroughly using warm water and a mild, fragrance-free soap or a dedicated sex toy cleaner. Avoid anything harsh or abrasive - Slo.Mo’s velvety silicone doesn’t like being scratched.

2. Rinse well
Any soap residue left behind can cause irritation. Rinse each plug under warm running water until it feels squeaky clean.

4. Dry completely
Pat dry with a lint-free towel and allow to air-dry fully before storage. Trapping moisture can encourage bacteria or mould—not sexy.

5. No boiling, no dishwasher
High heat can damage the finish and shorten the life of your plugs. Warm water is enough.

6. Storage matters
Once dry, store each plug in the included box or a clean, dry place away from direct sunlight. Keep them separate from other silicone toys to avoid chemical reactions.

7. Use the right lube
Only use water-based lubricants with Slo.Mo. Silicone-based lubes can break down silicone toys over time.
